MIRMA’s Annual Meeting that will be held at Tan-Tar-A, Lake Ozark, Missouri, July 20-22, 2016. Please complete the above registration form, print and mail it along with payment to our office by July 12, 2016. The contract room rate is $107.00 per night. Keep in mind that Tan-Tar-A is holding our block of rooms until June 28, 2016. Be sure to specifically ask for a sleeping room in the main building when registering.
As in the past, attire for the meeting will be casual. The member registration fees include all conference meals, both receptions, and the banquet and entertainment on Thursday night. Please note that there are two different guest fees this year. You may register your guest for all conference meals, or you may choose to only register your guest for the Thursday night banquet and entertainment.
We will have a keynote speaker Thursday morning and a full breakfast is offered Wednesday and Thursday with muffins and fruit Friday morning and a brunch to close the meeting.
It is very important for all MIRMA members to understand the basics of how MIRMA functions, how and why the association is different from commercial insurance. Therefore, we strongly encourage all city officials and official representatives that may be new to MIRMA to attend the Annual Meeting. This year we are again offering a reduced fee for any member who wishes to have their Mayor or a Councilman attend. If your mayor or councilpersons would appreciate a personal invitation, please let me know the names and contact information and I’ll invite them personally.

The golf tournament will continue to be a part of our activities this year and will be held at The Oaks course, one mile from the resort. It is open to all member representatives, their guests and service providers. There is an additional cost to play golf (which includes a box lunch) and those who are interested must sign up on your registration form. Foursomes will be set up in advance by MIRMA staff.
In addition to golf, MIRMA Health will also be hosting a 5K Run/Walk on Thursday morning. The 5K is free unless you wish to purchase a t-shirt. Please register by July 5th in order to purchase the shirt.
The topics this year cover various areas of municipal operations with an emphasis on the societal challenges the have gained attention recently.
