Lynn Simmons

Lynn was raised in small town central Missouri where her first job out of high school was in a criminal defense law firm.  She fell in love with the law reading the firm’s collection of F. Lee Bailey novels.  Thus began a 23-year career in the legal profession, working in both private practice and as in-house litigation defense paralegal for American Family Insurance.  In addition to her paralegal experience, Lynn served as a Legal Services Manager for American Family, overseeing offices in both Las Vegas, Nevada, and Salt Lake City, Utah.  She also holds a Missouri multi-line producer’s license.

In addition to her insurance litigation experience, Lynn spent the past 8 years in loss control and safety management.  She is an OSHA-Authorized Outreach Trainer (General Industry), has earned her OSHA Specialist in Safety & Health designation, and is a Certified Safety Consultant with the Missouri Department of Labor.

Lynn obtained her BA in Criminal Justice Administration from Columbia College and also holds a paralegal certificate with an emphasis in civil litigation.
